III. Rehabilitation and recovering

The modern accommodation and technical equipment in the four-star “SPA CLUB BOR” and the five-star “SAINT SPAS”, the high-qualified specialists, the mineral water availability and the favorable climate in Velingrad, as well as the tradition and the practice which the center has in the sphere of physical therapy and kinesitherapy make it one of the leading centers in the country in the sphere of physical medicine and rehabilitation. For each patient an individual program for rehabilitation and recovering has been developed according to characteristics and the stage of the disease. The individual program has been developed in the Medical center by the specialist in “Physical medicine and rehabilitation” together with the specialist in the relevant sphere. For the development of the program the patient has to give in advance description of the disease from the treating doctor or the General Practitioner, as well as the revevant health card with data for the health status of the patient in general, before his coming in to the Medical center.

Before the healing program for rehabilitation and recovering has been applied for each patient an electronic health card has been created and his health status before the moment he enters in to the Medical center has been determined – anamnesis, systems examination /blood pressure, cardiogram, laboratory analysis – blood and urine, Functional apparatus examination of breathing/.

Different rehabilitation and recovering programs may be applied in the two branches of the center for healing of::
Each healing program for rehabilitation and recovery has been developed according to a free reception pricelist and the relevant direction by the National Health Insurance Fund, if the patient has such direction. All healing programs for any accommodation period may be used to the “Balneo rehabilitation Sirona 2010” program.
